Ash Shepherd I am currently a Project Strategist with NPower Northwest who does freelance work on the side for small business clients and nonprofits. I previously spent three years working for TACS/NPower Oregon as a Technology Consultant/Trainer focused on websites, social media and e-marketing.

On most projects I am the primary consultant.  However, if a project or client's needs extend beyond my expertise I have a strong network of other consultants I work with in order to ensure you receive the highest quality of skills, service and products.

Our Passion

More then anything we are driven by a desire to make communities stronger.  We believe that the nonprofit and small business sectors are what drive our communities.  By helping you build better communication we are all building better communities.

Our belief in the power of community is also why we choose to be active in and support the Open Source community model for software development.  Software development through a collaborative and peer reviewed process that is also made available to everyone.

At Indaba Designs we demonstrate our commitment to community through action and not just words. 

Nonprofit Sector

We show our commitment for the nonprofit sector by providing ongoing volunteer web services to organizations such as PDXTech4Good, Wilderness Action Group of South Africa and the Jackson Hill Foundation.  We also provide as-needed support for other groups such as LitvakSIG.

Small Business

To demonstrate our commitment to supporting small business we use 3% of our profits each year to support small business loans around the world through Kiva.  As those loans are repaid we continue to roll those funds back into lending opportunities to continuously increase the number opportunities we can support.
